Tracy Kramer is a seasoned leader with a 25-year leadership journey including a blend of healthcare and operations expertise. Her notable career achievements include being recognized as one of Crain’s Detroit Business Notable Women in Healthcare in 2020 and America’s Essential Hospitals Fellow in 2019. Tracy holds a Master in Business Administration and Master of Science in Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the dual master’s program, Leaders for Global Operations.
At Henry Ford Health, Tracy held the role of Director, Strategy and Business Planning at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital, working direct for the hospital CEO & President and as a member of the Executive Leadership Team creating transformational changes for improved safety, quality, customer experience, and profitability. Kramer also held roles in Surgery and Clinic Business Operations, Public Health Research, and Transformation Consulting in the Project Management Office.
Prior to working in healthcare, Tracy spent 18 years in automotive manufacturing most notably as a part of the Manufacturing Leadership Program at Ford Motor Company- she has expertise in supply chain management, design for the customer/six sigma, team member engagement, continuous improvement, and training and development. Reflecting on her commitment to community engagement, Tracy also volunteers on the Board of Trustees as treasurer for Oakland Medication Center.
At home, Tracy is mom to 3 beautiful girls- Tessa, Olivia, and Andilyn and 2 furry pups- Gabby and Millie. She enjoys being outdoors and improving her downhill skiing skills in her free time.
